Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas Gets Business Makeover with SAP ERP 6.0 Retail

Scope

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas owns and operates more than 50 full-service salons

and day spas throughout the United States and Europe.

In 2006, Red Door Spas decided to give its business a makeover—

starting with the existing legacy system.

The company engaged Savantis Group for Phase 2 of the project—replacing the legacy system with SAP ERP 6.0 Software.

Phase 2, scheduled to begin in February 2007 and to go live in August 2007, included the following business modules:

Installing SAP ERP 6.0 involves much more than a simple installation.

Quickly realize the benefits of SAP software. And prepare for future national and international growth.

They also wanted to simplify the solution and to promote the acceptance of best practices.

As a mid-market retail company, Red Door Spas had strong growth expectations, broad functional requirements, limited availability of internal resources, and some degree of in-house SAP knowledge.

Result

Working closely with Savantis, Red Door Spas went live with SAP Retail in August 2007 as scheduled, with minimal interruption to business.

A solid, scalable SAP implementation gave Red Door Spas a strong foundation to add new salons and to continue its growth.
